This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at the Luxembourg House of Financial Technology (LHoFT) and to drive real change in the financial services ecosystem.

 

What is the role?

The Community Engagement Associate will be a key member of the Ecosystem team, reporting directly to the Ecosystem Manager but will work closely with the whole team at the LHoFT.

 

The Responsibilities are as follow, but not limited to: 

Relationship Management with fintech members:

  • Softlanding new companies into the ecosystem
  • Providing startup support
  • Community management and engagement
  • Organisation of in-house activities for the engagement and upskilling of LHoFT Members.
  • Ensuring an adequate liaison between the Ecosystem Team and the Admin Team for the correct onboarding of new companies, reducing friction in the transfer of compliance documents between LHoFT and potential new members.
  • Facilitating relationship with mentors and stakeholders
  • Protecting the LHoFT brand and identity, ensuring consistency across all external touchpoints
  • Fostering cooperation between the broader Luxembourg ecosystem and relevant programme stakeholders

 

Adding value to fintech members

  • Preparing and executing training programs
  • Facilitating access to funding schemes
  • Facilitating startup aids and innovation projects with R&D centers

 

Project Management tasks:

  • Prepare and maintain project plans
  • Liaison with task owners for status and issue management
  • Creation and update of project documentation
  • Inputting new contacts in the CRM
  • Updating contacts and projects on a regular basis
  • Followup and preparation of reports
  • Consistent filing/reporting of project documents
  • Providing support in gathering and analysing data on domestic and international market intelligence on fintech.

 

The person we are looking for will likely have the following attributes: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of the fintech industry.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in program or project management within the fintech, banking, or financial services sector.
  • Demonstrated experience in working with cross-functional teams and managing a diverse stakeholder group, including senior industry figures.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly adaptable and able to respond to quickly changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Meticulous and diligent, with an analytical approach to problem-solving.
  • Superior writing and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills, particularly in French, are highly advantageous.

The LHoFT Foundation is a public – private sector initiative that drives technology innovation for Luxembourg’s Financial Services industry, connecting the domestic and international FinTech community to develop solutions that shape the world of tomorrow.

The LHoFT connects with and creates value for the entire Luxembourg financial ecosystem; financial institutions, Fintech startups & trailblazers, IT industry, research and academia as well as the regulatory and public authorities.
