Global Dialogue on Regulatory Approaches for Inclusive FinTech

Description

The Czech National Bank (CNB) and the Alliance for Financial Inclusion (AFI) have the pleasure to co-host a closed-door FinTech peer exchange program for regulators in Prague on 26–27 September 2019.

This event will be the first of its kind as a follow-up to the Sochi Accord on FinTech for Financial Inclusion, which was adopted by the AFI Membership in September 2018.

Senior experts from the AFI’s membership and their counterpart financial regulators from developed economies, international organisations and academia as well as FinTech providers will convene at this high-level event to offer solutions that address financial inclusion challenges. The program will focus on advancing effective regulatory approaches for supervising and developing conducive market conditions that balance financial inclusion, financial integrity and consumer protection.

As a peer exchange, it will also advance the discussion of converging global topics that require novel approaches, enhanced cooperation and regulatory capacity to devise effective and balanced risk mitigation approaches.
