Elevator Pitch
Impact investing involves making investments to help create beneficial social or environmental effects while also generating financial gains. Sustainable development includes improving people’s lives and conserving our natural resources in a world that is growing in population, and increasingly faced with the unpredictable consequences of climate change, resource depletion and poverty.
BCP’s business model is fully focused on impact investing strategies in emerging and developing economies. BCP has entered into partnerships with United Nations agencies, consultancy firms, banks, non-government organizations and development finance experts with the purpose of enabling the execution of our impact mandate across a diverse range of investment strategies via our funds focused on the Sustainable Development Goals adopted by the United Nations members.
Problem Solved
While the low and middle-income populations are living in unfortunate and insufficient conditions, they are also the most likely to suffer from the adverse consequences of climate change due to their geographical locations. Solution/Technology
BCP addresses these specific societal challenges by offering financing solutions to companies whose products and services address critical needs of underserved populations across emerging and frontier markets. The companies financed by BCP have positively impacted the lives of more than 244 million people, supported more than 58,400 jobs including 20,600 jobs for women and avoided 17.4 million metric tons of CO2 emissions (for more information, please consult our Impact Report 2022 | Bamboo Capital Partners (bamboocp.com).
