kShuttle’s Vision: Innovating Regulatory Reporting with CEO and CRO Insights

In an exclusive interview with LHoFT, Mena Dogan, CEO of kShuttle, and Olivier de Gaetano, Chief Revenue Officer, share their insights on revolutionizing regulatory reporting. With a platform designed to streamline complex regulatory processes, kShuttle is setting new standards in compliance and performance management for businesses worldwide.

  • Can you introduce your startup and its mission?

kShuttle provides a SaaS software suite dedicated to regulatory reporting, offering several modules (IFRS16 & ASC842, BEPS Pillar 2, CSRD, SFDR, Carbon Footprint Calculation and Management, EU Taxonomy). We offer an Extended Regulatory Platform (ExRP) with all the necessary certifications. kShuttle’s mission is to simplify complex integrations and processes for C-level executives of large companies and SMEs.

kShuttle boasts a solid client base with a churn rate of less than 1%. Customer and employee satisfaction are key indicators of our performance, representing not just collaboration, but a true, long-term partnership.

  1. #1 in ExRP (Extended Regulatory Platform) with more than 10 years of proven success in the market
Founded in 2009, kShuttle’s platform enhances, creates, and orchestrates client IT applications. Since 2016, we have leveraged our platform’s functionality to digitalize and integrate complex regulatory processes, enabling strategic management through customizable APIs, workflows, decision trees, and advanced simulation capabilities.
  2. Strong Industry Expertise
With deep French roots, kShuttle’s R&D teams are based in France. We ensure regulatory compliance and functional relevance by internalizing industry expertise and partnering with local market leaders to address specific regulatory requirements.
  3. Successful Projects and Optimized TCO
We ensure 100% project success through a combination of agile and V-model methodologies. As executive sponsors, we take full responsibility for project outcomes and participate in regular steering committees. Our approach, using native content and standards, secures and simplifies both implementation and future maintenance.
  1. What inspired you to create this solution?

We were inspired by the multi-dimensionality challenge and the disconnection between business needs and IT solutions. Businesses require seamless simulations, reporting, reference data management, workflows, and business rules, yet IT often fragments these into EPM, BI, MDM, or BPM tools), creating data silos and communication issues. This mismatch forces companies to adopt fragmented solutions, which initially seem efficient but quickly create data silos, security gaps, and communication issues when stacked together.

Recognizing that traditional vendors weren’t addressing this cross-functional need and multi-dimensionality challenge, we developed kShuttle ExRP platform—a unified platform that integrates business and regulatory processes with shared reference data, workflows, security, and interoperability with IT systems, unifying regulatory and business processes on a single platform with shared security and data layers, reducing Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) compared to multi-vendor setups. Our goal was to eliminate silos and provide a cohesive, future-proof solution for compliance and performance management.

kShuttle focuses on disrupting the market by replacing legacy systems, driving international expansion, always up-to-date with the existing and future regulatory needs, e.g. BEPS Pillar 2, CSRD, SFDR, EU Taxonomy, GHG Protocol, IFRS16 etc. while accelerating partners’ onboarding delivering best-in-class products and service to clients.

  • How does your solution stand out from competitors?

We build tools that empower our clients to solve their own challenges—integrating metadata, reference data, workflows, security, and data management in one platform. Our approach is simple: we gather, organize, and make data readily available for any regulatory need. Since everything is pre-connected, adding new requirements is fast and low-cost. When new regulatory needs arise, the cost is minimal because we’ve already prepared the infrastructure.

This holistic system means clear ROI and lower TCO—clients avoid redundant costs by pooling resources. For example, if a user already has access to one kShuttle module, they won’t pay extra for other module user license. For instance, if a user is using GHG Insight for carbon footprint reporting and management, the user can also access the CSR Insight for CSRD and voluntary reporting, and Taxonomy Insight for EU Taxonomy without paying additional user license fee, saving cost for company and provide long-term benefits and efficiency. One platform, endless possibilities.

  • Why did you choose to join the LHoFT ecosystem?

kShuttle presented to banks our solutions in the 2025 ABBL Bank CEO – FinTech Speed Meeting, organized by ABBL and LHoFT. Through this event, we discovered that the LHoFT ecosystem is incredibly dynamic, offering a wide range of activities.

Being part of this ecosystem allows us to challenge our solution, engage with C-level executives, and gain valuable market insights and feedback. It also provides opportunities to connect with companies and build meaningful relationships with key institutions like the Ministry of the Economy, Luxinnovation, Chambre de Commerce, Cluster of Logistics, FEDIL, House of Sustainability, LSFI, the big consulting firms, law firms and others.

That’s why we decided to join LHoFT.
