The Sustainability Conference
Reimagine, Innovate, Collaborate
Envision equity. Drive development. Coordinate commitments.
MOMENTUM is Deloitte’s annual flagship event designed to shed light on the critical steps we need to take in policymaking, strategy setting, and operational processes to move sustainability forward.
The first global stocktake at last year’s COP28 revealed a concerning lack of progress in the fight against climate change. Governments are being called to demonstrate definitive headway by the end of the decade as a result.
Kicked off with a keynote speech by Thomas Schoos, from the Ministry of Environment, Climate and Biodiversity, and emceed by influential changemaker Jana Degrott, our third edition of MOMENTUM will feature expert-led panel discussions that highlight key issues to consider as we transform sustainability commitments into concrete plans of action.

We will learn, understand, and connect to address what’s needed for a strong, sustainable future:
- How can we ensure transitioning to a low-carbon economy is equitable and just?
- What role will organisations play in sustainable economic growth beyond the EU?
- How can we synergise collective efforts to accelerate meaningful progress by 2030?
When
Thursday, 18 April from 15:00 to 17:40.
The conference will be followed by a sustainable networking cocktail where you will have the chance to connect with conference speakers and other like-minded professionals.
During the cocktail you will also have the chance to meet French-Luxembourgish street artist and activist, Thomas Iser, and volunteer to participate in his critically acclaimed project, “Universal Humanity.”
Sustainability is a complex endeavor that encompasses a balanced blend of environmental, social and governance priorities. In line with this, you will have the opportunity to meet representatives from local NGOs that address critical challenges in underdeveloped regions, mobilize grassroots efforts in Luxembourg’s communities, and support women’s economic independence.
