In the context of the entry into force of PSD2, Banque et Caisse d’Épargne de l’État, BGL BNP Paribas, POST Luxembourg and Banque Raiffeisen joined forces to create the new company LUXHUB. LUXHUB will host and will operate a common API platform providing Account Servicing Payment Service Providers with PSD2 compliance services. LUXHUB facilitates Banks to be involved in the new API Economy. According to PSD2, Account Servicing Payment Service Providers have to become technical service suppliers for Third-Party Providers: LUXHUB will assume this role for banks.
