About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the LHoFT team and contribute to real change in the financial services ecosystem. As Program Associate, you will play a prominent and key supporting role within the Acceleration Program team, working closely with and reporting directly to the Head of Acceleration Programs. You will assist in the day-to-day management and execution of the Catapult program, initiatives designed to fast-track the development of fintech companies driving greater financial innovation and digital transformation across various markets.
Key Responsibilities
Program Strategy and Support
● Contribute to defining and refining program objectives, success criteria, and strategic planning in collaboration with the Head of Acceleration Programs.
● Assist in specializing program content to maximize participant impact and relevance across target markets.
● Support the Head of Acceleration Programs in the planning, coordination, and execution of Catapult programs.
● Assist in defining project scopes, timelines, and resource requirements.
● Help maintain project management processes and workflows to ensure timely delivery of program components.
Program Administration
● Handle administrative tasks including documentation, data collection, and regular reporting.
● Organize program meetings and maintain effective communication channels.
● Support the preparation of program materials, presentations, and reports.
Cross-Functional Coordination
● Help in coordinating across internal functions, including marketing, ecosystem and partnerships, finance, and events to ensure seamless program execution.
● Serve as one of the key points of contact for program-related inquiries and communications.
● Act as a collaborative and proactive member of the LHoFT team, aligning program activities with broader organizational objectives.
● Step in for other team members as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a team-oriented
mindset.
Stakeholder Engagement
● Assist in building and maintaining relationships with mentors, investors, industry experts, and other key stakeholders.
● Help facilitate networking and collaborative opportunities for program participants.
Brand and Identity
● Uphold the LHoFT brand and ensure consistency in all program-related communications and external engagements.
● Represent the LHoFT’s values in all external interactions. Monitoring and Post-Program Engagement
● Support the development of frameworks to monitor and engage program alumni, tracking their growth and progress post-program.
● Contribute to reporting on participant outcomes and program impact.
Marketing and Promotion
● Assist in supporting program visibility and outreach.
● Assist in planning and executing program-specific events and marketing initiatives.
Funding and Resource Support
● Assist in supporting participants in identifying relevant funding opportunities and connect them
with potential investors and grants.
What We Are Looking For
● Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related
field; Master’s degree preferred.
● Relevant experience in program or project coordination, ideally within fintech and finance.
● Knowledge of the fintech industry and digital innovation.
● Experience working with cross-functional teams and diverse stakeholder groups.
● Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks
simultaneously.
● Highly adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and French; additional
languages are a strong asset.
● A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a genuine passion for financial technology and/or
financial inclusion.
