{"id":21125,"date":"2021-08-26T15:18:24","date_gmt":"2021-08-26T13:18:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lhoft.com\/lhoftv1\/en\/?post_type=tribe_events&#038;p=9123"},"modified":"2023-07-13T09:29:03","modified_gmt":"2023-07-13T09:29:03","slug":"sam-the-african-microfinance-week","status":"publish","type":"tribe_events","link":"https:\/\/lhoft.com\/lhoftv1\/event\/sam-the-african-microfinance-week\/","title":{"rendered":"SAM : The African MicroFinance Week"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 class=\"text-align-center\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span class=\"text-red\">SAM: <\/span><span class=\"text-red\">Semaine Africaine de la Microfinance<\/span><\/h2>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span class=\"text-red\">The African MicroFinance Week <\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span class=\"text-red\">The largest inclusive finance conference in Africa!<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The 5th edition of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ada-microfinance.org\/en\/sam-2021\/home\">African Microfinance Week<\/a> (referred to as &#8216;the SAM&#8217;, based on the French acronym) will take place from the <strong>18th to 22nd October 2021<\/strong> at the <strong>Kigali<\/strong> Convention Center in Kigali, Rwanda.<span class=\"gmail_default\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">\u00a0<\/span>The SAM is a 5-day conference with renowned speakers and other important events.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span class=\"gmail_default\">Topic of the year is <strong><i>\u201cOne is not born resilient, one becomes it:\u00a0Fostering inclusive finance to better overcome difficulties\u201d<\/i><\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"gmail_default\"><b><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The LHoFT is a proud sponsor of the SAM, and will be present at the Innovators Village and will sponsor an exclusive Fintech Dinner during the SAM where you are invited.\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/h3>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The Innovators&#8217; Village will allow more than <b>25 exhibitors<\/b> to present their innovative products or services to the <b>500 participants\u00a0<\/b>expected at the SAM (MFIs, investors, banks, governments, consulting firms, regulators, NGOs, private companies, etc.). Each exhibitor will also have time to showcase their innovation.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>As part of the SAM Program, The LHoFT is organising an <strong>Exclusive Fintech Dinner <\/strong>on the <strong>20th of October<\/strong>, gathering\u00a0<strong>SAM attendees, top-notch Fintech entrepreneurs, investors and special guests,<\/strong> discussing innovations in inclusive finance. The dinner will take place from 8.30PM to 10.30PM.
