The Scandinavian fintech ecosystem has been amongst the most innovative in Europe. Beyond the huge tech companies, Scandinavian banks managed to digitalized their process and provide cutting edge technology to their clients.<\/p>\n

DNB ASA, \u201cThe Norwegian Bank\u201d, is perceived as the top in class regarding innovation and digitalization. In order to understand how they\u2019ve done it, we have invited their Head of Innovation, Vegard Hansen and Dan Toma, an innovation thought leader, to share their experiences and advises to professionals in the Financial Industry.<\/p>\n

Innovation is hard. They will share the challenges they faced, how they\u2019ve overcome them and where they are right now.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s not going the be a fairy tale, but a fascinating journey about deploying innovation in a challenging environment.<\/p>\n

About Vegard\u00a0Dyp\u00e5s Hansen<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Vegard is the Group Innovation Manager at\u00a0DNB<\/a>. For the last 8 years he has devoted his efforts to solve the key challenge of how large corporates can innovate successfully. With industry experience from the IT, health and financial sector, Vegard have several failures and triumphs in the quest for innovation. With a long-term commitment to innovation, he is happy to share his experience so other professionals can avoid traditional pitfalls and succeed more in new value creation.<\/p>\n

About Dan Toma<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Dan is an innovation thought leader and the award winning author of\u00a0‘The Corporate Startup\u2019<\/a>. Dan started his career in entrepreneurship, being involved with technology startups across the world. He focuses on enterprise innovation strategy – specifically on the changes blue-chip organizations need to make to allow for new ventures to be built in a corporate setting. A big proponent of the ecosystem approach to innovation, Dan has also worked with various government bodies, in Asia and Europe, helping developing national innovation ecosystems and implement national innovation strategies.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
