{"id":20856,"date":"2019-09-14T08:38:31","date_gmt":"2019-09-14T08:38:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/new-testing.site\/?post_type=tribe_events&#038;p=4680"},"modified":"2023-07-14T10:11:28","modified_gmt":"2023-07-14T10:11:28","slug":"open-banking-hackathon","status":"publish","type":"tribe_events","link":"https:\/\/lhoft.com\/lhoftv1\/event\/open-banking-hackathon\/","title":{"rendered":"Open Banking Hackathon"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Description<\/h2>\n<p><strong><u>September 14th 2019\u00a0is an historic day for the Open Banking trend in Europe.<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To celebrate the beginning of Open Banking in Europe and the PSD2 directive operational start-date (14 September 2019),\u00a0<strong>Finqware will host the first Open Banking dedicated Hackathon in CEE, using financial multibanking data access in sandbox mode.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The participating hackathon teams will have access to Finqware&#8217;s single API solution to connect to banking sandboxes for access to account information, payment initiation and financial product distribution.<\/p>\n<p>The challenge will engage teams to ideate and implement products, use cases and applications on top of financial data availability<\/p>\n<p><u><strong>THE\u00a0TEAMS<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>7 to 10 teams of 4 people (on average) to take up the challenge are expected.<\/li>\n<li>The teams can be either ad-hoc teams for the event, early stage startups or teams representing IT Dev companies.<\/li>\n<li>The objective is to maximise the success of the teams in picturing innovative applications and use-cases for Open Banking.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Registration deadline is\u00a01st of September (end of day) &gt;&gt;\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/cosminc.typeform.com\/to\/kbr5EB\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">REGISTER\u00a0your TEAM\u00a0<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><u><strong>THE\u00a0CHALLENGE\u00a0<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n<p>The teams will be challenges\u00a0to use the multi banking API testing environment made available by FINQware and partners ( where applicable ) to think of real use-cases implementations in 3 main fields with some proposed but not exclusive subcategories of solutions:<\/p>\n<p><u><em><strong>1\/ Open Banking for Individuals<\/strong><\/em><\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Personal finance management applications<\/li>\n<li>Robo-Advisory for increasing financial health<\/li>\n<li>Increase financial inclusiveness<\/li>\n<li>Next level payment solutions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u><em><strong>2\/ Open Banking for Businesses<\/strong><\/em><\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Optimising Treasury Management for Corporates<\/li>\n<li>Smart Financial management for SMEs<\/li>\n<li>Cross border FX Hedging for corporates<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u><strong><em>3\/ Open Banking for IoT<\/em><\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Using Wearables to manage financial life<\/li>\n<li>The car and its applications<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u><strong>THE\u00a0AWARDS<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n<p><u><strong>1st place team:<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2000 EUR in cash<\/li>\n<li>5000 EUR Google Cloud credit offered by Techcelerator<\/li>\n<li>Shortcut to Techcelerator next batch admission<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u><strong>2nd place team<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>5000 EUR in Google Cloud credits offered by Techcelerator<\/li>\n<li>Shortcut to Techcelerator next batch admission<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u><strong>3rd place team<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>5000 EUR in Google Cloud credits offered by Techcelerator<\/li>\n<li>Shortcut to Techcelerator next batch admission<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4682\" src=\"http:\/\/lhoft.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/Capture_decran_2019-08-22_a_12.16.56.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"483\" height=\"225\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Description September 14th 2019\u00a0is an historic day for the Open Banking trend in Europe.
