The European Innovation Council (EIC) will be the one-stop-shop for innovators in Horizon Europe (2021-2027) with a foreseen budget of €10 billion. \n2. The EIC Accelerator pilot / SME instrument Phase 2 programme has a budget of €1.3 billion for 2019-2020 and targets deep tech startups. \n3. If the SME instrument is not for you\, you may still try to join a consortium for a collaborative call for proposals (cf H2020 ICT work programme). \nYounis Hijazi is the founder of the Luxembourg-based consulting company YouScale Sàrl-S with the mission to help companies succeed in their exponential transformation. I have a scientific and international background (PhD in computer science; lived in six countries). Before starting my own company (in Feb 2019)\, I was working for the public sector for 7+ years — being employed by the Luxembourg national innovation agency and working very closely with Ministries and EU institutions.
