It forced a lockdown in many commercial activities and the economic consequences will be felt for years to come. The financial sector is essential to support the economic recovery through investments in healthcare\, social programmes\, and support packages. But finance must do more. Whether these new regulations are enough to push the financial sector into advancing long-termism and to accelerate the market uptake of sustainable finance remains to be seen. The discussion will focus on what the next steps in the European Green Deal are since the EU taxonomy legislation has passed in 2020\, if and how investors and asset managers will use the new framework\, and if there are other tools that also help them make their investment decisions. \n11:00: Welcome Address and Introduction\, Judith Bogner \n11:05: What comes after EU Taxonomy?\, Martin Spolc\, Head of the Sustainable Finance\, European Commission’s Directorate General for Financial Services  \n11:15: What do asset managers need to invest into sustainable assets?\, Christian Staub\, Managing Director Europe\, Fidelity International \n11:25: The Investment Environment: Does the EU taxonomy framework help the financial markets become more sustainable? \n\nSimon Bond\, Director of RI Portfolio Management\, Columbia Threadneedle Investments\nIngrid Holmes\, Director and Head of Sustainability\, Federated Hermes International\nDanae Kyriakopoulou\, Chief Economist and Director of Research\, The Official Monetary and Financial Institutions Forum (OMFIF) \nHilde Veelaert\, Head of Equities\, ACTIAM\n\n12:00: End of Day 2 – The European Green Deal: what next? \n  \nThursday\, 29 October 2020 – DAY 3: Financing the transition towards a sustainable future\nFor the global economy to reach a sustainable and resilient future\, change is needed everywhere: technology improvements\, economic adjustments\, infrastructure ventures\, social changes and more. He was an investment banker but decided to jump ship and use his expertise to build financial start up firms. Nigel founded Evolution Consulting Group\, a technology advisory firm to banks and private equity firms; RabbitFX\, a foreign exchange specialist for private clients; FX Capital Group\, a foreign exchange specialist for corporates; and\, of course\, The Currency Cloud. While on the dark side\, Nigel was instrumental in the hugely successful electronification strategy at Dresdner Kleinwort Investment Bank\, the digital market electronic trading business. SUMMARY:Narrative Strategy: From “Communication Big Idea”\, To Pillars and Touchpoints Experience
DESCRIPTION:Description\nNarrative Strategy: From “Communication Big Idea”\, to Pillars and Touchpoints Experience\nIn this learning experience\, we will link the Brand Positioning with the Narrative Strategy. It has the critical role to deploy the intended brand into the right consumer space\, through well-articulated experiences. \nAgenda\n1. Recap Brand Architecture:\nThe architecture shows the way a brand connects with the outside world through a mix of performance and promises. We will highlight how the leading brands are built through a clear ambition\, values\, beliefs\, benefits\, arguments\, personality\, and design elements. In successful cases\, a brand becomes a magnetic artifact\, able to attract a loyal “tribe” of customers \n2. Intended target group:\nPen Portrait \n3. Narrative Strategy – transforms Positioning into “Communication Big Idea”\, Communication pillars and touchpoints experience:\n\nCommunication Archetypes: the mix of pure symbols\nCommunication Big Idea: the organizing narrative umbrella.\nCommunication Pillars\nNarrative Arcs and Touchpoints Experience\nWe will discuss various examples and will dive into Red Bull and James Bond cases.\n\nLimitation note:\nWe will highlight the best in class models\, which are notorious and successful. Our objective is to study the pre-eminent examples. In communication usually\, the best practices come from storytelling industries (like Hollywood) or from FMCG or Service companies. These entities put a huge effort in developing their communication and interaction with their clients and later became a competitive advantage. B2B Organisations usually fail in this aspect\, lacking a proper communication focus\, at least from the time being. Second\, our objective is to learn new ideas\, not to solve specific business issues. \nMeet Mihai: \nMihai Bonca is a Senior Consultant at Brand Architects. He has an extensive experience involving brand repositioning and renovations. The local and international brands lead by Mihai repeatedly achieved market leadership\, while he received more than 25 industry awards for marketing contribution. He helps Boards and CEOs of local and multinational organizations redefining strategies\, transforming brands and marketing approach\, building roadmaps. In the past\, Mihai held Board Member positions and managed four countries as a Group Marketing Director. His expertise ranges from traditional FMCG to B2B and e-Commerce. Mihai holds an MBA degree from Oxford University and contributes towards the new generation of professionals by teaching Marketing Strategy as a Lecturer/ Clinical Expert in different business schools. When not in office\, with clients\, in conferences or with students\, Mihai can be spotted on the basketball court.
