SUMMARY:Open Banking Hackathon
DESCRIPTION:Description\nSeptember 14th 2019 is an historic day for the Open Banking trend in Europe. \nTo celebrate the beginning of Open Banking in Europe and the PSD2 directive operational start-date (14 September 2019)\, Finqware will host the first Open Banking dedicated Hackathon in CEE\, using financial multibanking data access in sandbox mode. \nThe participating hackathon teams will have access to Finqware’s single API solution to connect to banking sandboxes for access to account information\, payment initiation and financial product distribution. \nThe challenge will engage teams to ideate and implement products\, use cases and applications on top of financial data availability \nTHE TEAMS \n\n7 to 10 teams of 4 people (on average) to take up the challenge are expected.\nThe teams can be either ad-hoc teams for the event\, early stage startups or teams representing IT Dev companies.\nThe objective is to maximise the success of the teams in picturing innovative applications and use-cases for Open Banking.\n\nRegistration deadline is 1st of September (end of day) >> REGISTER your TEAM  \nTHE CHALLENGE  \nThe teams will be challenges to use the multi banking API testing environment made available by FINQware and partners ( where applicable ) to think of real use-cases implementations in 3 main fields with some proposed but not exclusive subcategories of solutions: \n1/ Open Banking for Individuals \n\nPersonal finance management applications\nRobo-Advisory for increasing financial health\nIncrease financial inclusiveness\nNext level payment solutions\n\n2/ Open Banking for Businesses \n\nOptimising Treasury Management for Corporates\nSmart Financial management for SMEs\nCross border FX Hedging for corporates\n\n3/ Open Banking for IoT \n\nUsing Wearables to manage financial life\nThe car and its applications\n\nTHE AWARDS \n1st place team: \n\n2000 EUR in cash\n5000 EUR Google Cloud credit offered by Techcelerator\nShortcut to Techcelerator next batch admission\n\n2nd place team \n\n5000 EUR in Google Cloud credits offered by Techcelerator\nShortcut to Techcelerator next batch admission\n\n3rd place team \n\n5000 EUR in Google Cloud credits offered by Techcelerator\nShortcut to Techcelerator next batch admission
